Lake Taupo is truly beautiful, and absolutely enormous! Taupo, like Queenstown is an adrenaline fueled town, full of sky diving, bungy jumping, white water rafting and paragliding. So, Olly and I decided to… go prawn fishing! This is the fantastic place for fishing prawn.
We had been quite keen to go fishing during our round the world trip (don’t laugh!), but had found that it was incredibly expensive to try. Not having a clue what we were doing, we would need instruction and supervision which in New Zealand costs hundreds of dollars. Prawn fishing, on the other hand, we discovered, is cheap!
